Employee's lunch hour streches definition of hour

Grand Rapids, Mich. -- Omni Corporation System Analyst Rob McIntosh's lunch hour fails to conform to the normal definition of the time measurement known as "one hour," sources report.

Coworkers claim McIntosh, 43, is typically seen leaving his desk between 11:50 and 11:55 a.m. and rarely returns before 1:05 p.m. These lunch hour excursions, ranging in length from 70 to more than 85 minutes in duration, far exceed the 60-minute stipulation placed on the time period classified as an "hour."

But even after stretching his lunch "hour" by as much as 15 minutes, it seems McIntosh doesn't exactly jump back into "work mode."

Back from "lunch," McIntosh begins eating lunch.

Sources say McIntosh's return only prompts the beginning of his actual "lunch," as he often sits down to his desk with a bag of fast-food or an entrée from the cafeteria - a habit delaying his office duties by as much an additional 15 minutes.

"I couldn't really tell you exactly how long my lunch hours are," McIntosh said of his loose lunchtime interpretation. "It's not like I time them, but I'm sure they're right around an hour."

"Sure, his lunch breaks are around an hour," said coworker Felix Marshall. "And my wife's ass is right around the same size it was when I married her."
